Silver Marten
The Silver Marten has black, blue, chocolate or sable fur with white on
the belly, chest, underside of tail, insides of legs, feet, chin,
nostrils, eye circles, inside of ears, and a silver triangle at the
nape of the neck. There are some silver hairs around the white areas.
They have an ideal adult weight of 6-9.5 pounds.

Note:
- While there are some similarities with the rare Silver and extremely rare
Silver Fox
breeds, those breeds lack the white markings of the Silver Marten and
have the "silvering" of white hairs and hair tips all over their bodies.
As rare as they are, it would be very unusual to run into these breeds
outside of very large rabbit shows.
- Many other breeds come in "silver marten" color varieties, so before
you decide you have a Silver Marten rabbit it's important to work
through the other characteristics of the rabbit - for example, Netherland Dwarfs are very small,
Mini Rexes have rex fur, and so on.
