Himalayan

The Himalayan rabbit is relatively small - ideal adult weight is only 2.5-4.5 pounds. Its short, fine, silky fur has distinctive dark markings on a white body. The markings on the nose, ears, feet and tail can be black, blue, chocolate or lilac. The eyes are pink.

The Himalayan has a body which is long, thin and "cylindrical" - that is, the line of the back and sides runs straight from the shoulders to the hips, without a large arch upward or curving outward. While many breeds can have "himalayan-type" markings, it is the body type which distinguishes the Himalayan breed from the others.

NOTE: Similar "himalayan-type" markings can also be found in other breeds, so before you decide your bunny is a Himalayan, be sure to rule out the other possibilities.
