Chinchilla

The fur on a Chinchilla rabbit resembles the fur of a "real" chinchilla (the rodent), a mix of blue, grey, white and black hairs, about 1-1.5 inches long.

The American Chinchilla rabbit is a rare breed, listed by the American Livestock Conservancy as "Critical", the highest category of concern. According to the Rabbitgeek.com list, based on ARBA registrations, they are no. 12 on the rarest breeds list.

 

Giant Chinchilla

The Giant Chinchilla rabbit is a rare breed, listed by the American Livestock Conservancy as "Watch" status. According to the Rabbitgeek.com list, based on ARBA registrations, they are no. 7 on the rarest breeds list.
